Palli’s first foray into film directing was in high school making 8mm short films. It was however not until the dawn of MTV that he realized his true calling.

Recalls Palli of that moment: my friends and I had mainly been using the film club as an excuse to cut classes, but when we saw the music videos for songs like Duran Duran’s “Girls on Film,” we realized filmmaking could be an excuse for so many other things.

A degree in Film Directing from New York University soon followed.

As a founding member of the organization “Erase The Borders,” Palli travels the world on three-day weekends advocating the elimination of man-made borders.

Currently, Palli is working on his first feature film based on the award-winning book “Z for Zachariah”

Favorite color? "I like all colors except pink although Flamingos look alright in it."
